The Science

How Neurofeedback Works

No electricity. No medication. No guesswork. Just your brain learning to regulate itself — with a little real-time guidance.

Neurofeedback is not magic. It's a gradual learning process that provides the brain with feedback, teaching it when it's firing neurons in a more efficient manner. Over time, this promotes concentration, memory, and learning — and reduces the toll of chronic fight-or-flight on your brain.

The Simple Version

01

Your Brain Produces Brainwaves

Every thought, emotion, and behavior is accompanied by electrical patterns in the brain — called brainwaves. Different states (focused, relaxed, anxious, asleep) produce different patterns.

02

We Read Those Patterns

Small sensors placed on the scalp detect your brainwave activity in real time. Nothing enters the brain — the sensors only listen.

03

The Brain Gets Feedback

When your brain produces a desired pattern, the software rewards it — with a sound, a visual cue, or a game response. When it drifts, the feedback pauses. Your brain notices, and adjusts.

04

The Brain Learns

Over sessions, the brain learns to produce optimal patterns more consistently — the same way you'd learn any skill. By reducing fight-or-flight and strengthening cognitive function, we help achieve peak performance.
